Our journey began in 2010 as FBN Life Assurance Limited, a partnership between FBNHoldings Plc and Sanlam Group SA. By 2012, we rebranded to FBNInsurance and then following the divestment of FBNHoldings from the business in 2020, became Sanlam Life Insurance Nigeria Limited.

In September 2023, Sanlam, Africa’s largest non-banking financial services company and Allianz, one of the world’s leading insurers and asset managers with more than a century of history in Africa, joined forces to create the largest pan-African non-banking financial services entity on the continent to become Sanlam Allianz Group.
